Halloween goodies for the girls to take to school/pre-K

I made these little bags to hold hand-made candies (eyeballs and skulls) for the girls to give out at
school/pre-K.  I made 44 in total.  I used my Cricut to cut the bags. I bought a bag of Halloween die cuts at Michaels and adhered them to a scalloped circle (Stampin Up punch) with a pop dot.  When I ran out of the die cuts, I used some spiders, bats, and ghosts cut using my cricut and added googly-eyes....
The candies were made using melted chocolate wafers and 3D molds.  Once the front and back of the eyeball or skull was hardened, I poped them out and stuck them together with more of the melted candy

These are the candies I made:

Kaitlyn's Pink Castle Birdhouse

I painted this birdhouse for Kaitlyn's room. I picked up the birdhouse from Michaels, and used some rub-ons to decorate.  Of course I had to use as much bling as possible, otherwise what kind of castle would it be?  She loves it and wants to play with it all the time, however, she is quite destructive so I had to explain how it is a decoration for her "Princess Room".  She was ok with that.

Mr. BMW

As you may or may not be aware, my husband is crazy about BMW cars. He is also crazy about himself. So for his 38th birthday this year, I made this card for him. The car was cut using my Cricut, as was the paperdoll body. I found some BMW logos and used Photoshop to make them various sizes figuring that one set would fit the car. I also did this with his head. I got to shrink my husbands head!!! How many people can say that? I used his "offical" work photo. I wonder what else I can do with his shrunken head?
So, it is not a fancy card, but it is his card and he loves it. Of course I had to stroke his ego even more with the caption of "Best Man anyWhere." Oh well, I did get to shrink his head!

Snowbunny

As it continues to snow here in Calgary, I am reminded of this card I made last year.  I still really love the minimalistic look.  I stamped with the snow bunny stamp, then made a mask.  I then stamped with a small tree stamp twice.  I think the tree stamp is Stampin Up and I know the "be merry" stamp is for sure.  The snowbunny is from a set I bought at Michaels a couple of years ago.  I want to make some more of these minimalistic cards again this year - probably with some Pink Cat Studio digital stamps.

Cricut Snowman from Christmas Cheer

Well.  Since it is snowing here.... still - here is a nice winter fella to match the weather.  The snowman was made using my Cricut and the Christmas Cheer cartridge.  I used pop dots to make him stand out.  Some orange glitter on his nose.  The blue background was done using one of the winter themed Cuttlebug embossing folders.  The sentiment is from Stampin Up and I used chalk to further give the card some elegance.

Paisley Cricut cartridge coming January 2010 (???)

Another blog rumour.  This cartridge looks like a lot of fun too...my wallet is shrinking away in terror!

Elmo Party Cartridge coming January 2010(???)

Through the blog gossip channels comes a new cartridge for January.  Very cute cuts on this one, and the difference between this one and the Sesame Street Friends cartridge is that this has actual party elements to make and cut out for your little ones' birthday party!
