Photo/Card Holders

I love these photo/card holders - don't they look yummy! These will also be going up in my Zibbet store.
Enjoy!

Earrings

These are photos of the earrings I was selling at the recent craft show I attended.  These will be put up on Zibbet as soon as I have a chance.  All the earring wires are sterling silver.  You can get a sence of how small these are by looking at the last photo of me holding the little snowmen.
The christmas tree earrings are Swarovski Crystals and the blue snowmen ones are fire polished glass beads. Both are really very sparkly!
****Hey lil' sisters......great gift for mom would be those snowman earrings!!!!!****
Enjoy!

Itty-Bitty Christmas Angel

While I was making stuff for the craft sale, I made this little angel for me - or to be more exact - for my Fairy House.  She will sit as an ornament on the hutch in the kitchen. I made the hair curly by wrapping tiny strings of clay around a small sewing needle.
Enjoy!

What Are Cake Pops?

"What Are Cake Pops?" I kept getting asked this question at my craft show yesterday.  I thought EVERYONE knew what Cake Pops were!  I guess I am ahead of the latest baking craze.  No one would believe me that they are basically cake on a stick, and most did not even want to pay $1.00 to try one.  The ones that did enjoyed them immensely.  Anyway - if you want to learn more about Cake Pops head on over to the blog and author who started it all - Bakerella.
I made a batch of very simple ones as I was trying to promote making these as alternatives to regular cakes at events.  Or as party favours.  I think I got more weird looks than anything.  Here are some photos.

Craft Fair Today - All Done

Well it wasn't the best craft fair I have ever been to, nor was it the worst. Here are some pics of my table.
Now I have to clean my poor, neglected house.
Enjoy!

Unfinished Haunted Mirror

I have been working/not working on this mirror for over a month now.  I loved making those pumpkins with the faces so much, then started to think that one of those sculpted faces kind of morphing or stretching out of a mirror would be neat.  This was done on a piece of extra dollhouse plywood I had hanging around.  The clay is the harder grey clay, of which I painted silver after baking.  I put in white eyeballs, thinking that I would paint them a blood red.  Just as Nikki was trying to think of a way to bring out more definition to her book skulls (see her post here), I could do a black wash to do the same here, but won't it take away from the "morphing/stretching" out of a mirror look? I have been held up with the mirror frame as well, however, I am thinking that Nikki's faux leather technique around the edge might be nice....any suggestions?

Nov 20 Local Craft Show - Charms

I made these charms a while ago in preparation for christmas craft shows.  I knew that I would be in at least one or two.  Turns out that I will only be at one as the other conflicts with a family vacation.  C'est la vie.
I made quite a few of these so if I have any extras left, I will put them in my Zibbet shop.  If you will be in the Calgary area - come on out and see my stuff in person as the camera does not do them justice.  I have LOTS of other charm/pendant designs that I have not even blogged about yet - cookies, brownie sundaes, cupcakes, birthday cake pieces, snowmen, gingerbread men, and many others!

Chocolate Overload

I wish it was chocolate overload - REAL chocolate that is :)  These are the chocolates that I have been working on, and I cannot eat them :(
I placed these ones on porcelain plates - there are two different ones.  I have more that I am going to put into little chocolate boxes.
In the middle there are chocolate, vanilla and caramel truffles, white chocolate latte, caramel cappuccino, gingerbread, Irish cream coffee sticks, and almonds in dark chocolate.  Mouth watering yet?
I placed these chocolates next to my cookies as well, so you can get a sense of sizing.

Enjoy!

Christmas Cookies - The Mini Kind

I am just finishing off making some miniature chocolates, and I realized I had not posted the cookies I finished last week.  These are made for a 1:12 scale dollhouse.  I am going to list these in my Zibbet shop tonight to see how they do.  I am also going to list my gingerbread house - if it sells before my craft show - I can try to make another one.  Be sure to look for my mini-chocolates once I am done them.

Enjoy!
